These oil filters are a testament to German craftsmanship. My E320 has a lot of mileage so I change the oil filter frequently to reduce the amount of particles and metal debris in the oil. Good filter and good for oil changes as recommended by the manufacturer! It will save you money paying the dealer for an oil change and once an expensive engine repair hits the road if you have your car properly serviced. So if you are mechanical and buy the right do-it-yourself products with this filter and oil, you can save a lot of money in the long run.

With a service interval of 8000 miles this filter looked exactly as it came in (except for the discolored oil). I used a cheap filter for that brand and when i removed the filter it came apart with a small tear in the material i was nervous about dirt getting back into the engine but with this filter i trust this filter 100 percent just to test this filter i am driven a 10,000 mile service interval and it held up amazingly. Most of my trips were highway miles, 110 miles a day. Money well spent.
