Excellent quality, easy to use, plus min, max and average functions.

A very inexpensive way to measure duct pressure in an HVAC system. (Be sure to get a set of probes as well) This simple and inexpensive pressure gauge has solved a longstanding problem with our furnace. Our oven overheated and shut down and the service technician didn't know why. Was it a problem with the furnace, the duct, the coil? I used this gauge to measure the supply and return pressure and found that they were too high compared to the oven spec. It turns out that our house was previously

It works but the budget is obvious

I just calibrated my flow-through propane water heater with this gauge. It seemed to work well and accurately. Maybe it deserves four stars because it's so cheap. BUT the cheapness shows in the fact that it took me 10 minutes of struggle to fit the 9 volt battery. The battery wires are too short due to the shape of the cavity for the battery to sink properly into the cavity. Either the cables need to be made longer, or relief cuts need to be made in the housing itself for the cables and battery

Ideal for homeowners and DIY enthusiasts.

This is my first time using the digital version but for the price I'm very happy with it. I don't work in HVAC, just helping family and friends. I installed a wall heater for an elderly friend in her pump room to keep her plumbing from freezing. She uses an electric heater and these things really add to her electric bills so this heater should be cheaper in the long run. So I wanted to check the heater pressure as it runs continuously until March or April. Also, someone before me had messed upโ€ฆ
