This is my first time using the digital version but for the price I'm very happy with it. I don't work in HVAC, just helping family and friends. I installed a wall heater for an elderly friend in her pump room to keep her plumbing from freezing. She uses an electric heater and these things really add to her electric bills so this heater should be cheaper in the long run. So I wanted to check the heater pressure as it runs continuously until March or April. Also, someone before me had messed up their controller settings, so I had to check that out too. I've tested it statically and also on low heat and it makes little difference. (Higher when not burning gas) but I was told propane should be 11 to 13 in h20 and I adjusted it to 11.5. This device has many settings for almost any test at low pressure or vacuum. Your LPG supplier charges about $50 to come out and check the regulator and line pressure so $35 and you can check anywhere is a great deal. I think I might as well test the vacuum on cars, that might be more convenient. I used to be an HVAC installer so I already knew how to do it but the instructions are almost useless. So beginners look at videos on the net.
