Manos Maxima, a super soft 100% extrafine merino wool in a light and squidgable single-ply aran weight yarn. Hand dyed by a fair trade Women's co-operative in both vibrant brights and tonal pastel shades Maxima is the perfect feel good yarn for those snuggly Autumn/Winter knits. HAND DYED: Each skein is hand dyed by Artisans in Uruguay therefore each skein is unique. There is not another one quite like it. Images are representative of the yarn color but small varaitions may exist between skeins due to its hand dyed nature. MATERIAL: 100% Extra Fine Merino; YARDAGE: 200m / 219 yds per 100g skein. NEEDLES: US 8 (5.00mm, UK 6). GAUGE: 18-20 sts in 10cm/4in.

Not Worth the Price Tag

I was disappointed with this yarn after spending a pretty penny on it. Through trial and error, I found that it tended to stretch out and lose its shape. While it comes in a variety of beautiful colors, it just didn't hold up in my Arts and Crafts projects.

Not the colors I was expecting

The yarn I received was tight and did not match the product photo at all. The actual shade of blue is also much darker than it appears in the photo. I was very disappointed with the color.

  • Manos Maxima, super soft 100% extra fine merino wool in a lightweight and stretchy Aran quality single ply yarn. Fair trade, hand-dyed Maxima yarn in vibrant light and tonal pastels is the perfect yarn for comfortable fall/winter knitwear.
