I bought these because I couldn't find a simple keychain in the store without buying a dainty piece of jewelry in the shape of a keychain. And I felt stupid buying a nickel on Amazon and paying four times the shipping cost of a ring. So I ordered them instead and was more than thrilled. These mounts are beautiful, very very strong, well made, great for key rings but have so many other uses. Their design is very elegant and it is clear that a lot of care has gone into their design and manufacture. However, I am surprised that there is no way to lock the bolt on these rings. I unraveled and lost two of these. So I used Loctite to seal the threads. This worked for me. However, imagine the alarm when someone puts the keys on a manta ray and they unscrew everything and drop it.

Four cars in the family and EDC items attached to each of our rings. It is great! Sturdy, well made and strong as a nail. Coated wire is a plus. No noise when canceling. Put some Loctite in the barrel for extra security. Great piece!

I love these things! They make the best zippers for gear with lots of compartments. The blue cable ring contrasting with the black mechanism is easy to spot.

These are excellent products, packed at five rings per pack, very profitable. I use them as rings for luggage tags, not keys. They've survived multiple airline baggage handling systems so far! The only minor downside is that they don't stay fully tightened and require periodic tightening. Because the thread is long, I think there's little chance of it breaking during each flight, but I tighten it after each flight.

Actions may indeed speak louder than words: this was actually a follow-up order after receiving and trying out my Original MantaRings to pass on to friends and family. All recipients agreed that there is no better way to carry keys, easily change keys and supermarket tags without damaging thumbnails.
