There was also a notebook for writing. The shell was good. There were also instructions on how to properly care for the feathers. Ordered a week ago tomorrow. It arrived two days ago and looked like someone had pierced a metal can. When I opened the jar I couldn't close it again because it was broken. It was dented so badly that the calligraphy book inside was bent. I sent it back to Amazon and they sent me another one which arrived today.
