📏 Maped Twist'N Flex Ruler 12 Inch / 30cm - Assorted Colors: Unbeatable Flexibility and Versatility (279010) Review

I thought this would be the perfect ruler for my grandson who likes to measure everything. Since I was flexible, I figured there was nothing he could do to him or himself or anything else. On this point I was correct. However, the ruler I received is green with black letters and it is very difficult to see the numbers against this background. They are not as clear as shown in the blue ruler.

I use these in the classroom and it solved the problem of my students breaking my rulers every year. My students don't do it on purpose, at least not most of the time, but the plastic ones are brittle. Now we can even measure curved objects and still use them as a ruler. The delivery was quick and correct. My only complaint is that they have an intense plastic/rubber smell. I've had them for a few months now and the smell has only slightly diminished.

First of all very nice graphics on this puppy: high contrast, good choice of font. It also appears to be very durable. If you just need rulers and maybe some good edges for say a geometry lesson then these are great. If you want the edges to be perfectly straight, look elsewhere. Edges are misaligned/cropped. The ruler marks (black lines) are slightly offset from the edge, causing your drawing tool to run unevenly. You will never draw a straight line with these edges. Luckily it's not very…
