CD not ejected after 23 months of use.

Good. worked for almost two years. Now the CD will not eject. And the FAQ doesn't throw it away either. Well I have to say this is pretty much a black rock with cool blue lights playing a CD. Be careful. Maybe I'm just having a bad experience, but it's enough to make me never buy a Marantz CD player again.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Exchange possible

single player game! for CDs and tape recorders

This device is much better than other MP3s I've had. Not only in terms of quality, but also in terms of the options offered. This may seem obvious, but it is not. You can pause and stop (believe it or not, not every device like this has a "stop" function.). And most importantly, you are not forced to listen to all the files non-stop. You can choose different game modes, one of them is "single player" which I really need.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Great audio player for DJ booth

This audio component plays music CDs, any MP3/4 files, etc. that I put on a USB stick or SD card; and a 3.5mm jack allows you to use music from your smartphone and iPad. It mounts securely and fits well in a standard 19" audio rack; and two XLR outputs deliver dynamic sound to the speakers via my audio mixer. I almost forgot to mention that the Bluetooth connection with smartphones, tablets and laptops is impeccable and offers high sound quality.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Not discarded after 5 uses. MIA Help Desk

We use a computer for most CDs, but it's handy to have a dedicated CD player in our sound system. We haven't used it more than 5 times and it won't eject the CD anymore. An attempt to find warranty information was unsuccessful. Some numbers are no longer in service and others just give you automatic entries which are either bugged (press 0 for operator. Sorry this is not a valid option) or finally just let you leave a message for a call back. No callback possible at the moment.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Great CD player, the best of CD players

I just love this CD player. The design of "Pro Audio" is simply beautiful. It only does what you ask it to do. Unlike Home (Consumer) Audio, it doesn't try to do anything special when you press a button. It doesn't start playing just because you insert a CD. It doesn't just change inputs because you plug something into the USB port. It just does exactly what you ask it to do. The sound quality is fantastic. Bluetooth works perfectly. Love that there is no tray to slide in and out (and break my…

Forget other CD players

This CD player is simple and compact - who needs a carousel? It's designed to get the best sound out of your media. It has XLR outputs, which I will be connecting to my 3500w Behringer powered speaker system using XLR cables this weekend, as well as my 100w Yamaha amp with JBL Studio Series tower speakers, which I have since turn up a week - yes! I have two sound systems in my living room. HA This unit is BT equipped and will come in handy when my sons get their music on their mobile phones…

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Available in black only

This is NOT a Marantz product

Marantz Professional is no longer affiliated with Marantz so do not assume you are buying a Marantz CD player. That in itself is not that big of a problem. The real problem is that the device arrived defective. As other reviewers have pointed out, the CD mechanism seems to have some issues. It didn't take the CD from me unless I pressed the "Eject" button, and even then it didn't read the CD tracks until I cycled the device with the CD in it have. I had to do this with every inserted CD. The CD

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • No paint required

Good Hard to Find Single CD Player

So far so good. It replaced the three-year-old Onkyo, which gave way under light to moderate loads. As with most CD players, the sound quality is good. I like the front loading mechanism that works like a car player. It's quicker than waiting for the drawer to open, and it displays the song title when it's embedded on the CD. A plus is the 3.5mm jack on the front, which allows you to plug in your MP3 player or phone directly, even if you need to turn the volume up to a higher level. The…

Good for its price!

08/24/2018 - first impression: only received yesterday evening. while playing and enjoying only 2 cd'. For the price of $159 I really can't complain. The block itself is built on the ground, it has weight and the same with the remote control. I'm far from a music lover, but I have a pretty keen ear (I play musical instruments and often have to record chords by ear). I don't spend $499 on a quality CD player. So this pmd-526c fits my needs: low price, good quality, basic CD player, with RCA…
