Marantz Professional is no longer affiliated with Marantz so do not assume you are buying a Marantz CD player. That in itself is not that big of a problem. The real problem is that the device arrived defective. As other reviewers have pointed out, the CD mechanism seems to have some issues. It didn't take the CD from me unless I pressed the "Eject" button, and even then it didn't read the CD tracks until I cycled the device with the CD in it have. I had to do this with every inserted CD. The CD audio quality is what you would expect from any CD player, but the BT audio quality is pretty poor for a $200+ unit. It's coming back and I wouldn't recommend this product.
