Robust and compact.

I bought this solar panel to replace my old one to continuously charge my RV and boat. This option is heavier and more practical. I love that it folds up, it's as compact as a handy briefcase. It makes it easy to store away when I'm not using it. It had every conceivable power supply. I currently have it attached with carabiners but am considering placing it on the roof of a camper van with kickstands built in at the back to spend more time in the sun.

Can be used alone

I bought this to complement a power station thinking it would help me recharge it during the day on a hike or in an emergency. As with any solar panel, charge times depend on how sunny the day is and can often be slow, but during my testing I was able to charge a camping fan up to about 50% on a relatively cloudy day. I expect the power station to take a few days to charge, but if you connect the electronics directly to the panel it's much faster and more efficient.

Lightweight and portable briefcase mount

This is a great mount for my backup power system, perfect for field work to charge my backup power and folds up like a briefcase. These are good solar panels, not junk, they have grommet holes so you can hang them up and I just stuck them in half a rectangle and they do their job really well. It was perfect for camping and not too heavy or bulky to carry around. It also has a zippered pocket for storing plugs and accessories in the bag.
