The generator is worth the price, but not all parts work well.

I bought this kit primarily for the alternator to make assembly with my daughter difficult and these parts are excellent. Unfortunately, the green S-shaped slide with open rails does not have enough buoyancy to keep the balls moving and sometimes they get stuck. Loop-d-loop is cool, but the balls fly through it so fast it's hard to see it in action.

Pros
  • Excellent construction

  • Problems

A much needed addition to our existing set!

This set pairs perfectly with another brand's marble treadmill, and the optional Y-site splitters add a whole new level of fun to our treadmills. My 6 year old son also loved the bow section but said he wished the bow was bigger. We are very glad we bought this set. Some parts may be more brittle due to the flimsy plastic supports, but it's plastic and not made to last!

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Not Safe

This can be interesting during assembly

Two pieces with guides are problematic for any marble that doesn't fit exactly to size. This can be fun for the building process, just put a whirlpool on the ground to catch the smaller balls as they fall and it works as an unintended divider. These two pieces would be better than regular gutters rather than rails to allow all the balls to flow. That being said, the switch parts are some of the best parts I have. This makes things more interesting or just helps ensure you don't send a flood of…

So much potential - Marble Runs

I was so happy to get these and add them to our existing Marble Genius set. The "Y-Joints" are amazing, smooth, with a great mechanism to move the balls smoothly from side to side without defects. A great detail that greatly enhances our ability to run with the ball. The loop loop is amazing too. My kids didn't think they could flip the ball upside down. But it's easy, every time. And its color is different from any other items in the kits or add-ons so it sounds real. We had an issue with…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • It's fine

Standard balls (various brands) fall through the rails

Well we have several components from this brand and they are all extremely fun. I wouldn't recommend a marble run for kids under the age of 7 unless you plan on helping them, but we'll put the merits of a marble run aside for a moment to talk about THIS particular set of tracks, or more specifically rails. you suck Balls (most balls, not just a bad/small ball or two, just sink through the ground at corners and when they don't, slowly stop when pinched) or wedged between the "rails". , since…
