Affordable and functional

This unit is quick to set up. So if you're good with computers, you'll be ready to dive in minutes. Easy-to-read display with large characters where it matters. You have to buy a separate device to download your profiles, but that's pretty inexpensive. There is a slight delay in updating the pressure changes but after 50 dives with this unit I don't see much of a problem unless you dive deep and with low air level. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the markings rub off the face…

Buy something else.

I have a Quad Air and I don't like it that much. The backlight is dim, difficult to see in dark water. All indicators have the same color and you have to remember their position. The user manual is digital only and contains complex diagrams. Finally, and most annoyingly, the PSI readings don't always work after the system is pressurized. It reads a depth of 4ft but I need to know what it reads on the surface right before diving. I can read it by closing the reservoir valve and releasing the…

NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

Bought 2 of these, one for me and one for my wife. We were trying to streamline our scuba gear and getting rid of the pressure hose seemed like a good idea (at the time), hey, one less hose. They both worked for about 10 dives after which my wife stopped transmitting tank pressure data. She ended up missing out on a prepaid boat dive while we were in Bonaire. Two dives later, mine is doing the same! WTF. We had to borrow two pressure gauges so we could continue the dive. Sent them back to…
