Get what you pay for

I have tried three other "Reverse Y" adapters from other companies. None of them worked. This one works great and I love the light that signals proper connection and the tension is a big plus too. Also like the 5 year warranty on this cable. It was more expensive but it was worth it.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Compatibility

I didn't have the snap ring installed.

Mine arrived with a snap ring uninstalled. I've tried lube, soap and a screwdriver but I can't get the ring to slide off the lug. My arms are injured and sore after the attempt today. If I can't find it, I'll send it back as defective.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • So far so good

Roasted again a year later.

I would like an explanation for this. Especially since this is the second reverse Y/50 AMP cable I've gone through in three years. Marinco still hasn't responded. UPDATE: According to Marinco, the adapter is not intended as a permanent solution. This is not an acceptable answer. How short is the lifespan of this product? It should have an expiration date, don't you think?
