I bought 4 of these belts, all in different colors. . . very good bands for the price. Suggest anyone who buys this to add 2 inches to the waist of the pants size. For example pants size 40, order 42.

This belt is so great, I love the color, the length is just perfect, the holes go where I need them, some of the belts are often tight even though they should be the right size , I also like the buckle, very smooth. I am very happy with this purchase. Update: 10/26/2019 I also bought a black one and it is just as beautiful and good quality as the brown one.

Revain describes belts that are said to be made of "cowhide". But the skin is too hard and this quickly causes wrinkles on the belt. The belts I bought in Italy 7 years ago now look like NEW. It's about the quality of the skin.

This belt is described as real leather. If it has skin, it's the paper-thin outer layer. The belt is very stiff and will not become more flexible with wear. It's well made and looks good, but it's not a flexible band.

The leather feels supple and is of good quality. Can't comment on long-term durability as I've only used it for a few days, but it looks good and is durable. Good color choice. Runs a little small so may be a size larger than yours.

In less than a week it was chipping, cracking and coming loose at the edges and tips too! "Skin" scratches, cuts and scrapes too easily! Top grain, full grain, glued, 100% cowhide? There are so many ways to hide the quality of leather goods. My guess is that this belt has at least one plastic backing (inside the belt). Overall the belt is a nice belt for a dress. I ordered 2 inches longer than my pant drop size and it is correct. But the belt is terribly hard on the skin. I've only worn it once so it's probably torn but it actually looks like it's leather only on the outside and the rest looks and feels like plastic.
