Markal Marking Temporary Temperature Diameter Review

Chalk available for writing on different surfaces. Makes tires a lot better than chalk. Remains on the surface for a long time. It's handy to mark which tires go where if you have an extra set of tires, e.g. e.g. winter tyres.

This is tire chalk. Nothing fantastic. Does what I need (record on tire tread that vehicle tire came loose prior to winter/summer storage). Be gentle enough not to break the crayon, but again, nothing fancy and do your job.

If you plan to use this for parking control this is PERFECT. You will not wipe it off with a wet paper towel. It can take a torrential downpour, but a car wash brush or tire cleaner will get rid of it so you don't ruin anyone's tires.

I thought the product worked exactly as I expected. I used it to mark the wheels after switching between winter and summer. The edge was very easy to write on and I didn't even have to pre-clean the surface. I managed to accidentally rub one of the marks and it got a little smudged but still clearly visible.

These tire markers worked great. I used them to mark the position of my summer tires on the car before storing them for the winter. I put the marks on the tread and the marks stay on well enough not only to rub off, it's easy enough to rub off with a little elbow grease. I will never be able to use all 12 crayons but the price was low enough so it's ok.

I use them to mark my winter and summer tires so I know which side of the car to keep and change year after year. I just rotate front to back which seems to work best for me. The main criticism I have of them is that they could be a bit softer. They leave more visible marks and are less prone to breakage in transit. One of the crayons was broken when I received it. Otherwise I like them.
