Step back from last model

Disappointed with changes - no more AUX input. Wake button - in exchange for a slightly more advanced version of Bluetooth?! Not necessarily. I liked the older model's gold trim. The sound is the same - I can add that the older one sounds a little better separately. Shame!

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Pretty ok

Volume: Portable bluetooth speakers

Definitely my favorite! Wireless speaker, does its job. I use it at work and it sucks! Am I loud at work 13:30 hours a day and don't have to charge it for 2 days ((only if I keep it on low volume I get about 21 hours)) Now when I play loud I only go around 10:30 or Getting 11am, that's it. Overall I like this speaker. I also have Bose's speakers and I have to say that both speakers sound great and have good bass.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Nicely finished with material. Good sound.

Great sound and quality. Love guitar-like sounds whenever you plug or unplug your device. Strong and durable. I like it! Update: After 4 uses the speaker stopped working and Marshall is now processing my warranty claim. Too bad it only lasted a month. Update: I called Marshall's technical service and 7 days later a new Marshall came from Sweden. Very happy with how they solve my problem. 5 Stars!

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Working speed

Loud and clear - portable audio and video

I originally got the Bose Revolve+ because of the size and expectation that it would be loud. The sound was good but nothing compared to the style and amazing sound of the Marshall Kilburn II in my opinion. The sound resonated throughout the large room as I was teaching Zumba. If I forget to charge, 20 minutes gives me a big boost and the ability to play for over an hour. However, this speaker plays long and powerfully. I like the comfortable leather handle.

Small package, big sound.

For €300 you will definitely justify your money. I love a lot of bass and punch in my music and Kilburn 2 didn't disappoint. Right out of the box it had 4 to 8 hours of playtime. I usually take this thing to work or my board games for background music and it works well throughout the work day and gives me plenty of energy when I want to turn it on at home. For me, this is a major upgrade from Soundcore Boost 2, which I thought was great but had a lot of issues with the moderately bass-heavy…

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Audiophile quality of BT speakers? You are joking.

UPDATE: Downgraded from 5 stars to 3 stars because the speaker stopped working a few weeks ago. I'll update this review based on Marshall's response to the warranty, but none of my purchases get 5 stars if they break within a year let alone 6 months. Another annoyance is that this thing turns off automatically after a few minutes of silence. This makes sense when it's on battery, but it's VERY annoying when I plug it in and use it as a home entertainment center speaker. I could forgive this…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Makes me nervous
