Gentle on your wrist! for hammers

After hammering sheet metal for 25 years I have found that working with lighter weight metals is easier on my wrist. Do yourself and your wrists a favor and buy NOW!

Pros
  • Round hammer with cross chisel body and fiberglass handle
Cons
  • Has imperfections

Tin Monster

This hammer sucks. I use it 90% of the day. The top heavy head is extremely comfortable and comfortable. Rocks like crazy with pinpoint precision.

Pros
  • 3" chisel length
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Really good hammer.

Very good hammer. I do PDR, and hammers made specifically for PDR cost ridiculously, like everything else in the field. I painted my face and it turned out great. Not wanting to give up when I win, I also tried drilling and tapping the back end like a real PDR hammer, but it didn't work that well. The metal used is very hard, "as you would imagine a hammer to be" but even with the carbide bits on my press I have achieved nothing other than the quality of American steel that makes this awesomeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Ideal for decorating
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

I love these hammers: Claw Hammers

Sheet Metal Work Buy and love this hammer. It's very light and gets the job done. Definitely no problem rocking it all day. Definitely not a hammer for field use on a construction site but when it comes to making ductwork in a workshop this is a great hammer and is preferred over a regular canning hammer.

Pros
  • Cross Fence for sharp corners around moldings and caulking
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Really good hammer.

Really good hammer. I do PDR, and hammers made specifically for PDR cost ridiculously, like everything else in the field. I polished the surface and it turned out great. When I won I also tried drilling and tapping the back end like a real PDR hammer but it didn't work. The metal used is very hard "as you can imagine a hammer" but even with the carbide inserts on my press I got nothing but the high quality American steel used to make this great hammer.

Pros
  • 3 inch chisel length
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
