I really like using these calligraphy pens. I'm not trained in calligraphy but they help my regular cursive to look very elegant. The strokes are very wide, so it's difficult to write small. The main disadvantage is that they are used up very quickly. Nonetheless, I still love her.

I've been practicing calligraphy with the Peter Paul Press, which has fairly thick paper that holds ink very well. These marks bleed across the paper when I apply more than two coats in one spot, and bleed across the paper causing tight corners, sharp points, and sharp lines to become rounded or fuzzy edges. Markers for surfaces where the ink doesn't bleed or where it doesn't matter, but they're not good for calligraphy on paper.
