My favorite apron!

An excellent Japanese style apron pattern. Love it: A. It's reversible B. Both adult and kids models are included C. It slips quickly over your head D. It's more comfortable than traditional aprons as they don't tighten your neck or squeeze your stomach. The only problem I found was that I wanted them to be slightly longer than the pattern. (And I'm only 5 feet 2 inches). I added a few inches to the bottom and it turned out great. I also modified the pockets by making a straight rectangular…

Crazy about this apron

It's a pleasure to make. Not as easy as they say if you do it right, like topstitching and pockets. With my first apron, I walked in pockets. That made the whole thing too unwieldy. I removed the pockets and piping and then used two sets to make the pockets which I sewed together, turned inside out and topstitched. I only knit bags on one side and show the wrong side of the pattern. Then the pockets are only on one side. I used embroidery for the top of the bag and it looks so cute. Using a…

I made this crossover apron for my sister as a housewarming gift. She loves it! It was easy enough to make and only took a few hours to cut and sew, including the top seam. (I spent more time adjusting it to the size I thought would fit my sister best since she couldn't try it on when I was walking around.)
