Pumice? about tools and supplies for outdoor cooking

Real pumice must be much harder than these stones. Breaks down into concrete too easily. Not recommended for outdoor use but recommended for delicate concrete surfaces.

  • I can hurt myself

Cleans very well. Griddle looks like new!

They worked very well. Too bad I didn't think of wearing rubber gloves. It came with a cloth but I don't think I used it properly. But both pans shine again and the grill looks like new. I will probably have to buy more as I will be using them regularly.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Works much better and safer than wire grill brushes

My husband asked them to clean his grill because he kept finding tiny pieces of wire in his new Weber grill. It was scary as we grill a lot and we have a small child. He showed me the shovel with all the little wire needles in it and I was blown away. We received them straight away, as well as a handle for it, and he has used all 3 to restore his grill to new condition. We will not deviate from them as we believe they are the safest way of cleaning.

Pros
  • Looks great
Cons
  • No insurance

This rock comes in very handy for removing burnt grease from the grill grate and all INSIDE of the grill. Don't try to use it on exterior surfaces - it will completely ruin the finish! It will take some warm water and some time, but eventually it will remove everything, leaving dull but clean stainless steel or iron. Received 3 rocks and a useless little mini towel that went straight into the bin. They clean and any residue left behind can simply be wiped off. Be sure to "clean" the grate with…

Worth Every Penny!: Grills & Outdoor Cooking

I spotted our Blackstone pan which had been stored in the garage over the winter and to my surprise was covered in rust. I bought cleansing stones after seeing Black Stone on YouTube. I also bought linseed oil as mentioned in the video. Okay, so I started by brushing the cold pan with linseed oil and started rubbing the surface with a rock. You will feel the sand when he does this. After about 5 minutes, I wiped the pan down with paper towels. Make sure you have a full roll of paper towels…
