Worked great on my 2008 Scion Xb

Worked great on my 2008 Scion Xb. I had a pretty rough idle before I changed them. Great price for four considering what most auto parts suppliers require.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • too stupid

Has worked well for about 8 months / 5000 miles.

Bought this kit for my 2012 Scion xB. They were installed in July 2020. Today, 03/17/2021, the coil of cylinder 2 is defective. The complete set covered 5,000 miles before the accident.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Stops working after a month

Bought 4 pieces in September, exchanged everything. One of them stopped working on October 25th. Only worked a month. I asked the seller for a guarantee. They said they would send me new parts but I have not received any new parts. don't buy from them.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not everything is as good as it says

BEWARE! Everything failed in less than a year.

You get what you paid for! All 4 coils for less than half the price of a single Toyota OEM coil. Something must give. I have replaced all 4 ignition coils on my car, 2 have failed within 6 months, now less than a year old, all have failed. fluctuations. I ended up replacing all the coils with OEM Toyotas.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Small problems

Works fine now - Parts

2007 Camry SE number 3, cylinder misfired, code P303 said so too. Then it started stalling, it actually had 230,000 miles on it so I figured it was time to tune in and put in new injectors. First I switched jets and she started jerking as if not wanting to accelerate. I just put in new spark plugs and coils and after installing everything the check engine light went out immediately. I've driven it, now it's smooth acceleration and instantaneous throttle response.

Pros
  • There is something in this
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Save 75% compared to Toyota retail! !

My 2012 Scion XB started showing an ECM trouble code and found a misfire on cylinder #1. Had a similar problem with another Toyota which was cured with new coils. Installed these coils with a set of Denso IK15TT Iridiam TT spark plugs. Easy installation and cleared my engine codes. I noticed a 15% increase in fuel consumption, the car starts easier and runs noticeably smoother. The coils and connector together cost just $75 and took 20 minutes to install. If I had used genuine Toyota parts the…

EDIT! Fast, easy, easy.

UPDATED REVIEW: After 13,510 miles on these parts the car started to spatter and was not working properly. He pulled out his ODB reader: 4 cylinders failed. Block partially replaced, 1 cylinder defective. Luckily I still had the 145k mile OEM coils, I reinstalled them no problem and they run almost smoother than these. WILL NEVER BUY NON-OEM AGAIN. At least for Toyota/Scion. Also, I noticed that xB 2011 is no longer listed as compatible here. I'm sure I wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't on…

Pros
  • understandable also available for the old
Cons
  • upgrade

Barely lasted 20,000 miles with the occasional misfire

I think you get what you pay for. After about 10,000-15,000 miles I had instances of either p302 or p304 which came on under acceleration. I thought they were candles. I didn't think it could be coils. The problem still appeared during hard acceleration (CEL flashes, engine shakes, power failure) and disappeared. As long as I kept the engine load low this wouldn't happen. However, after doing about 20,000 miles, one day on my way to work I went to start the car and after shifting into gear…
