These ignition cables did not fit my 1999 Mercedes ML320 (W163). First, they are much longer than the original wires. This is important because the computer assumes a certain length of wire to synchronize the spark. See fig. Second, the end that attaches to the spark plug won't fit in the hole in the head - they're too wide, probably 1/8 inch. It's hard to see, but I've added a picture as well. Details are important! The assembly/installation of the cables in the reel ports was a bit tricky. The socket in the cable has no guide, so it is off-centre. So if you try to slide it into the coil connector, there's a pretty good chance you'll slide that socket deep into the coil connector on either side of the pin.
