Masonry Drill Bits for Power and Hand Tools

I've tried several sets of masonry drill bits and they all seem to have failed me. I've never had to drill into concrete that hard, and then this set came along. I'm so happy I bought it. I can finally drill through concrete, brick, wood, whatever. Doesn't break, but warms!

Pros
  • An Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Out of Style

good product! for power tool parts and accessories

I was skeptical because of the price, but I used some $20 bits to pierce brick and burned them. I figured out the price, try it. Well they worked better than some very famous brands and cut through my brick like butter. I almost never leave reviews but just felt like I should give this product some credit.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Mostly fine, but...

Great Tools - Drills

These drills are designed for working in materials where high pressure is impractical. I have used them successfully on ceramic, terracotta and glass. The more traditional flat point masonry bits require pressure to work, in fact a hammer drill is recommended. They are more accurate and work with minimal pressure. Water cooling is strongly recommended.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not bad

They work! in Countersink

These masonry drill bits cut through cement, concrete etc. like butter. You haven't let me down yet. I plan to use them to raise the shutters against hurricanes. Come in a transparent case and don't feel cheap. As with any tool purchase I am a little skeptical but I feel comfortable knowing I have purchased a quality set. Works great with the right techniques.

These can be used to pierce the bottom of two thick glass bottles. If they're bent, broken, or dull on you, you'll need to slow down and add some lube. I used some shear oil, but any friction reducer will do. For larger holes, it also helps to use smaller pilot bits so you don't wear out a bit as much. Take breaks to cool them down, they'll get hot.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Only available in black

Does not meet the advertised and expected standard

I purchased this product to install 2 safety bars in my shower. These drilling points were not in use. 2 1/2 holes and the bit head is completely gone! The holes were drilled into the ceramic tiles and it appears that the tiles were thousands of times harder than the metal used to make the drills. There are only 6 holes in the end and only install one protective bar. I DO NOT RECOMMEND INVESTING YOUR MONEY IN THIS PRODUCT, ITS QUALITY IS VERY DOUBT!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Worked but not on the whole tile

I had several projects that needed solving in my house and in the house of relatives. I had to drill 4 holes for the cornice in some kind of tile. Each whole took 10 minutes with a high-speed electric drill. I discharged the battery of my hand drill. And I had to switch to a fully-fledged electric car. I used both 1/8" baits and they are roasted now. Then the next day I went to my relatives. And they definitely had a different tile because they cut like butter. Something in my bathroom is…

  • Drill
Cons

Broke on first use best in Countersink

Given the high ratings for this product, I decided to buy it and give it a try. The case that comes with the kit is cheap, difficult to open, and doesn't hold the bits in place well. But it works for the job - can't complain. However, the problem is in the bit itself. I took a 1/2" bit and tried to drill a shallow hole in the concrete. The bit broke on the first use. I drilled it and was able to drill a few holes with it afterward .Each time the drill broke more and more.I do not recommend this

  • Countersink

look no more! on Countersink

Quick Overview: Buy Now! I wanted to install a Ring Video Doorbell. Knowing how bad the standard drill bits in the kit are, I used one of my own. The bent drill bit photo shows what happened to someone who tried to drill a hole in my brick. I then used the bit that came with the doorbell. It was practically useless. It took about an hour to drill 1.5 holes with two drill bits. I then bought this bit set. I used one and it went through brick like a hot knife through butter. Another thing I liked
