Failed after 4 months

Perfect replacement. Before replacing, disconnect the battery and discharge the computer by turning on the headlights for 2 minutes. No problem with service fault display. UPDATE: 4 months after installation excessive fuel consumption, high idle and starting difficulties.

Junk made my car shift hard

I bought this for my 2001 Chevy Malibu on my way to work but on the way home from work my transmission started acting weird, shifting hard, bumped into the gearbox, I figured gearbox was bad, then the check engine light came on, that's the mass air flow sensor the day after I installed it, so I order OEM, install it, works fine, no more hard shifts, don't buy this one , you will regret it

ODB2 didn't show the code but the dealer said it was bad and it was

The truck behaved as if it was taken to a landfill. The feeling of slipping stays put almost all the time, generally works like crap. There was no code for the MAF, but the GM dealer had one that was faulty. Boy was right, it got rid of the slippery feel, it idles and has enough power to spin the tires if you try. My fuel consumption is also more constant. Day and night.

Well it was unexpected.

Judging by the reviews this is more of a temporary fix until you get a better part. I actually bought mine on 3/2/2020, i.e. a year ago, just as a backup in case my AC Delco brand air mass sensor fails. I finally installed it today on my '94 Grand Prix and immediately noticed a difference in performance as soon as I got going. Also, my car runs pretty smoothly. In other words, so far so good. I still intend to buy another MAF in case that one fails. But it exceeds my expectations given its cost

The old Chevy S10 loved this part.

I've had a 2002 S10 for about a year - the check engine light has always been on and lately it's been running erratically like it's running out of gas or possibly a transmission problem due to wobble. The OBD2 reader showed the mass airflow sensor. Spent about $3 more on this than the similar piece listed on Amazon to support a US company, especially during the pandemic. Very glad I did. I reset the code from OBD2, I replaced the part (10 minutes) - I turned the ignition and immediately theโ€ฆ

Took 2 months but customer support was great

Received and installed in February. Immediately corrected the MAF code I got from my car's onboard computer. In late April, P0102 (MAF circuit input low) returned. Worked great and improved everything as my van ran for exactly 2 months! The item comes with a lifetime guarantee. As I was outside the Revain returns window when the product failed, I am awaiting a response from the seller to see if they will replace the product. If they do I will increase my rating.
