💨 Airbrush Hose and Compressor Adapter: 1/4" BSP Female to 1/8" BSP Male Fitting Conversion Bushing - Master Airbrush Brand Review

Needed to connect the airbrush to the compressor. Almost all pneumatic connections are NPT threads, allowing the transition to sealed O-rings and straight airbrush hose threads. I used a pipe nipple to connect this fitting to the outlet of the regulator with a quick connect on the inlet side. Now my airbrush can easily be connected to my shop's pneumatic system and independently adjust the pressure of the airbrush.

I used this adapter for a very different purpose than most others: I wanted to add a 1/4" quick connect to my irrigation system to use my air compressor to blow through the lines for the winter, but the valve installed was only 1/4". 8 inch thread. This solves this problem perfectly. I added a 1/4" ball valve between this adapter and the quick disconnect to keep the system closed. The threads were the right size, but it took a few extra turns of teflon tape (perhaps due to my valve assembly).

The name is a bit boring. This is not a ¼" NPT to 1/8" hose fitting. This fitting was never intended to be used with an o-ring or nylon strap. This is 5/16 female airbrush adapter and 1/8 female airbrush adapter.
