Master performance Model G78 multi-purpose high performance air abrasive etcher and etching airbrush gun kit with a 1/2 oz. gravity abrasive material cup and a 0.5mm tip head. Kit also includes a 6" braided air hose with a mini-inline moisture filter, jar of aluminum oxide abrasive 5 oz. (150g) net weight, dust mask, airbrush hanger, plus a how-to-airbrush guide booklet by Master Airbrush. It operates like a mini sandblaster, as it’s ideal for applications where cleaning, etching or removing surface material is necessary. The spray etch pattern is from pencil line up to 1/4”. Up to 240 grit abrasive media can be used. Common hobbyist and manufacturer applications - Etching designs in glass, removing rust and paint, erasing color errors, weathering models and rail-cars, antiquing furniture, cutting monograms, cleaning jewelry and fine parts. I like it but I know what I'm doing. That's the 2% rule. You must be 2% smarter than what you are using.

Use to prevent clogging when humidity is low. and it helps to dry your sand or whatever you use before you put it in this sandblaster. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 250ΒΊC for five minutes to dry the sand. If you do this every time, you will have fewer clogs. I really like this shop. Helps with them small mistakes or small works.

Defect on multiple levels

Strike 1 - as previously mentioned you MUST purchase a 1/8 to 1/4 hose adapter to use this airbrush. I hope you read the reviews and you can buy it along with the airbrush at the same time as you buy the airbrush. Strike 2 - Unless you buy it as a spare, be prepared to practice a lot or try and fail. because there are no instructions on how to do this. Even the most basic advice will help. Poor quality - get what you pay for.

I didn't want to buy a cheap instrument, but there were enough positive reviews to shake me. It was a mistake, in my 20 years of carpentry, metalworking and art I have found that you get what you pay for. Here are the problems with the product that was sent to me. .My moisture filter was leaking badly at the crimps. The moisture filter is very cheap to the point where it's pointless.
