This lock is of a very high quality with a beautiful chrome finish. I didn't buy this as a towbar lock, but as a lock for my pedals on my car. It worked great. The fact that it came with two sizes of needles really helped because the thicker one didn't fit so I went with the thinner one and it fitted perfectly. I like that there is a rubber cap to keep dirt out.
