Way better than expected! Only thing that was strange was they mention in the instructions of a bubbler only with the 3 gallon kit, but mine came with a stopper and bubbler on the 2 gallon kit. Threw me off for a few minutes. But can’t knock a star for giving me more options, and the better accessories.

The fermenter is compact and incredibly easy to set up and use, a great design, and an excellent introduction to basic brewing. Everything that was needed for my first batch and bottling is included. I will follow-up with a beer review in a couple of weeks.

I bought 2 of these and planning on buying a 3rd conical fermenter. No leaks from the spigot, very important feature. Cleans easy and to sanitize. I usually get 6 1lt and 4 16oz bottles from a batch. Once you drink a batch, you'll never go back (to regular beer).

This is a nice little kit. It is easy to sterilize and clean, which is important. And there is very little mess. My only complaint is the airlock fitting was a little loose. I like this better than the more conical fermenters, which tend to have balance issues and require silicon tape to seal them.A great introduction to the making of craft beer.

Quality seems very high. Steps are easy to follow and the kit has everything you need other than filtered or bottled water and a one gallon pot. Got my first batch going the day it arrived.UPDATETasting the product early (1 week ferment, 4 days in bottle) and I'm really thrilled with the results. This was a great set with easy to understand instructions that made a very good product without any frustrations. Great start to a new hobby.

Bought this for my dad. He loves hobbies and beer. So this made the perfect gift. Hes good at this kind of stuff so it came out great. Actually inspired him to get little more creative with it.

I'm dabbling into home-brewing again - after 3 bad experiences years ago. This kit is easily set up, and mindless to complete the mission - get yerself one! {or, two - no downtime between batches <wink> }

The kit has everything you need to get started brewing your own beer. There was no need to purchase additional supplies like some other kits. The instructions are well laid out and easy to understand. This is a great kit for someone like myself who is just getting started brewing their own beer. I will see how it turns out in another week and a half.

This was my first "kit" I received and all in all, a little overpriced for what you get. The total combined values of these items is less than others if you purchase the kits separately and you end up with a small fermentor. It's still fairly high quality, with the exception of the bottles which seem fairly cheap (background in plastics molding).For this price, I would simply purchase the following:*1 filling wand*10' length 1/4" OD tubing*1 5 gal fermenter with tap*1 5 gal bottling…

The only thing i can really say about this is dont just buy one.after seeing how easy it is to brew your own great tasting beer.youll wish you went ahead and bought two so you won't run out of beer inbetween batches.believe me.

Good for beginners or learning but the beer has a funny taste to it. Plastic and alcohol do not mix well. Tried 3 different recipes of theirs with the cleanest purified water. All had a funny taste. You are better off getting something stainless steal if you are serious about beer. Also I strongly recommend rinsing the "no rinse” cleanser with purified water. The cleanser left another funny taste in my first brew.
