Great tool that needs more features

I love how easy it is to set up and get going. The notifications are great and the integration with Slack is nice too. It's not perfect but we have been able to make some good improvements with the help of the team at Mattermost. We have had to take some shortcuts in our implementation as the product itself was not ready when we started our project. But the support from the Mattermost team has been excellent and we have made significant progress since then. This is an all-in-one solution for…

Pros
  • Easy deployment.
  • Relatively cheap compared other solutions out there (at least free tier)
  • Very user friendly interface that makes onboarding new employees much easier than if using email or slack directly which both require basic training before usage can be effective/efficiently used by users who don't use them regularly enough beforehand.)
Cons
  • Notifications sometimes won’t work properly
  • Many features come disabled after first signup unless you go

Great way to organize your team and keep everyone in the loop!

I like it because you can see all your team members at once in one room so if anyone needs help or has questions just type/say something out loud everyone will hear them immediately without having people get up from what ever project /work place etc...They have great customer service who listen & actually fix issues instead putting there heads down trying not too look into others faces as we are working together!   • Has an easy chat history search function that makes finding info super simple(you don't need scroll through message after messages!)
