Description of 🛏️ Evolon Zippered Mattress Encasement for Queen Size Beds – Sleep Safe with ZipCover 15-inch Protector

Made in the US and made of EVOLON. The award winning German engineered Evolon offers 1 micron filtration using a microfilament technology, creating a physical barrier against very small things. EVOLON is made using an eco-friendly process and because of its large internal surface area, it can absorb 400% of its weight in water and dries very quickly. This breathable fabric is not coated, and it has no pvcs and no chemical post treatments, so it is totally breathable. The fabric is rustle-free, comfortable, and has no "plastic" feeling. Sleep Safe ZipCover Evolution mattress encasements provide protection to make you sleep well. Totally machine washable even with non-chlorine bleach and wash tested at 500x for durability. Wash prior to use for ultimate softness as the EVOLON fabric naturally softens with each washing.

IT IS VERY HARD TO LY ON THE FUTO MATTRESS

The fabric has become softer and looks good after washing. BUT. the zip to pull the cover over only goes through from above. My previous cap came all the way up the side which made it much easier to put on and take off. It took my husband and I almost an hour of struggle to put a pair of these items on two double futons. It might have been a bit easier if the mattress was firm and slippery, but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who has a traditional cotton-covered futon.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Makes me angry

THIS WON'T MAKE YOU HOT!

First off, it's almost impossible to find a regular zip-top mattress topper without a bunch of features I don't need - whether it's water resistance, mites or bed bugs. I just want my new mattress to be in good condition. This one came closest. I think it's waterproof but unlike the other two I bought it's not hot. He says he breathes and he breathes! When you lie on it, you don't hear the crunch of plastic. It wasn't the cotton fabric I was hoping for - it's more like paper, maybe polyester…

I love this material: Mattress Covers

This is a nice soft material. Doesn't look like cotton. I've read that bed bugs are attracted to polyester and cotton. When I ordered a different poly/cotton fabric, to my surprise the zipper area was actually full of bugs. I didn't have that with it. I still have work to do to get rid of the bugs, but I've had little trouble with the bugs that have accumulated around the zipper. I checked my mattress every few days and caught any bugs. I bought a beetle shell around each of the legs. It helped

No bed bug protection, holes in fabric, no zipper, no velcro

I bought this cover to protect my child's mattress from bed bugs. When I received it the zipper was open. Also, when I held the masking material up to the light, small holes of light flashed through. A bed bug larva can get through a hole the size of a single stitch in clothing or a mattress pad. Therefore, the bed bug protection claim for this product is not reliable. I am returning this item for a full refund and will not receive a replacement. It also says there is a zipper. The zipper…

Excellent mattress pad for allergy sufferers

I like this mattress pad very much. The bottom and sides feel like plastic, while the top is smoother, like a sheet. My daughter's allergies have definitely improved. I ended up going back to buy a pillowcase. The mattress cover appears to be waterproof. My little daughter had an accident while sleeping and she was curled up on the bed covers. I will say that after having to remove the mattress cover in the middle of the night I went ahead and bought a reusable pillow for future accidents. The…

Mattress topper Eco Living Friendly ( "Elf ") Evolution, cot size

Recently bought for the second time. (The first case is still ok, but I was careless when I washed it and it doesn't look very good - darker and lint free.) The eco case looks strange at first, but after washing it's very soft, like a medium weight one flannel fabric. It's not hot to sleep ("sweaty"). I don't know how it goes with the crib mattress unfortunately. I use it to cover a foldable wedge-shaped pillow "Medslant" when I travel, so as not to collect bed bugs in hotels and bring them…
