I have been buying them for over 5 years. Unfortunately the quality has gone down rapidly the last few times I've bought them. Typically, one of these earbuds will easily last 8-12 months. The last 3 of these I ordered took less than 3 months before failing. Nothing has changed in how I used them, it just seems like the quality has gone down.

I wish they had a little better connection system. I wear them with a safety vest and the clips get a bit uncomfortable (at times). The headphone side is a metal alligator clip which is very secure but a little larger than necessary, the plug side is a small plastic clip which could be a bit stronger. Don't get me wrong, I've bought a lot of these - for myself and others. This is a great tool for people who have to carry two-way radios at work all day.

So we ordered these as props for people to wear to a spy event. They were cheap, looked fun, and to our surprise, they actually sounded pretty good. It's a main earbud, so the sound quality isn't amazing, but it's good, and our main goal was to find people wearing them to a spy event. Be sure to read that you CANNOT use them to talk to people, they are only there to plug into a phone, walkman or radio to listen!

I'm in the process of returning this item (to be honest I chose this because it doesn't fit the handheld mic I'm using, fault on my part.) The bigger one Problem is, it didn't work on the other devices it was designed for. All radio traffic was still received via the handheld microphone. For less than $10, I wasn't expecting top-notch stuff, but it was worth the money, so I expected it to work. The earphone is extremely uncomfortable. It might fit your ears, but I wouldn't. I use it on patrol with a Motorola radio. I like that the dispatcher can tell me if the contact I'm speaking to has a warrant even if they don't hear it. I attach a metal clip to the vest's shoulder strap under my shirt and leave it on the vest at all times. Sometimes they go outside, but it costs money to keep them ready for use in my work locker.
