Absolute junk for $20 the cord should be longer than 8 feet. The connector to the camera is a mm or 2 off so you kinda have to pry 1 of the screws out to be able to screw it in. Also the connection between the two chords is not tight enough I used a zip tie to keep it tight. If companies are going to rip us off they could at least make it a quality product. I don't understand why ring doesn't make they're own extension cable. Update this is completely worthless would only charge 4% a day tops…

Need to extend the solar panel this wire worked great. Camera has be 100 percent since Install. Plugging it is a bit tricky. At first it looks like it doesn't fit but once you force it in amd it clicks ita never coming out. Wish it was a bit longer.

Have two of these connected together to connect the solar panel to my Ring camera. Works great! Battery stays charged, even with the solar panel only getting a few hours of direct sunlight each day. Connector fittings seem snug enough to maintain weatherproofing. Have been through a couple rain storms so far with no problems. Would recommend!

Cable is not meant for the spotlight cam. Tried to use it and cable will not say connected securely and no longer charges.

I bought this so I could place my Ring solar panel in an optimum location so it’s hidden but still captures maximum sunlight. The extension cable is flexible, easy to install and works just fine.

Doesn’t work with my Ring spotlight camera. I have to plug it directly into the solar panel to get a charge. That's my review.

Was a bit hesitant on ordering these cables. But tried them out. Works just great. Used them to extend my solar kit. Connects just fine with no issues. Just have to paint them the wall color to blend in. Too bad they did not come in black.

The product did exactly as advertised. Extended the ring solar panel to a spot with more sunlight. No problem connecting to the ring stick up camera.

The connection between the solar panels cable and the extension cable is poorly designed. I had to use electrical tape in order to keep the connection secure.

title says it all. if you have a stick up cam, this does not fit the camera or the end of the cable coming off the solar panel. ugh. what a waste.

Since Ring do not provide an extension cable for their solar panel devices, I researched online and located this product.Direct sun for 2-4 hours is Ring’s recommendation for their panel. I had a need to extend their standard 8’ feet cable to 40’. Therefore, I purchased 4 cable extensions and IT WORKS!My Ring cam and solar panel consistently give me a reading around 98-100%, depending on the amount of Ring activity.

This extension cable works as advertised. Though some reviews indicate that it is a difficult fit, this is likely due to the tightness required for the weather resistant connection. The cable has been in place for approximately one month with no issues, and allowed for optimal placement of our Ring solar panel which solved the battery drain problem on our Ring camera.
