I just bought the camera and the USB cable that came with it fell on the floor. Without my understanding it fell, our pup picked it up and chewed it well. I started looking for a new one and some of them were expensive. This one was very reasonable and works like a charm. I check the ground around me much more carefully for me and my little pup.

I ordered this replacement cable because the description says it works with Nikon Coolpix L830. I received the cable but it didn't work so I asked for a replacement. The second cable doesn't work either. I don't know if both cables are bad or if this cable isn't really a replacement for this model. In any case, the cables are back and I will be contacting Nikon for a genuine replacement cable.

Not satisfied with this cable. We bought it four months ago and it has been working great until yesterday. Somehow it just didn't work anymore. At first I thought my computer was going crazy, but we tried it on my husband's computer and it didn't work either. Took out an old USB cable (it was too short to be very useful so we bought it as a spare) and it worked fine. I understand this is a cheap thing, but it's very disappointing that it "went wrong" in such a short amount of time.
