Used on 2001 Mustang GT Decklid with Spoiler

I was nervous about using them on the Mustang GT as it has a decklid spoiler but another reviewer did the same with good results. The seller offers a different part number for the GT attachment/trunk spoiler but I couldn't get it in time so I went with this one. They work as they should and installation was easy.

Complete transformation of the trunk!

You totally exceeded my expectations! Very easy to put on! You simply take a flathead screwdriver and pull out the clip holding your old jack, pull out the part and put in the new one, it's that simple! And my trunk used to clap but now it goes down nice and slowly but it rises very fast and stays in place! Excellent investment! Get them before the wind blows them over your head or something!

Hooray, trunk opener!

POOH! My trunk now magically opens FULLY with ONE FINGER. It used to open about halfway and then stop unless you helped it all the way - didn't suddenly fall on my head or anything like others say, but took a bit of help to open fully. No longer! I poked these two puppies in less than 5 minutes, using my house key to pull out the old ones, then poked the new ones and BAM! Opens like the trunk of a new car. Yayyyyyy for opening suitcases properly! Or so. Etc. Um, yes.
