Very well made cushion. I put it on my cargo DA port, it fits snugly but the washer that came with it fits in. The only thing I don't like is that it comes with a separate screw instead of the one that attaches to the pad, I prefer I like the washer that comes with the kit.

Rubbish. I bought 2. And they have worked well for almost 3 months. Then I noticed a vibration. When polishing. I took off the plate and found this. Cheap product. I previously had a Griots baseplate that lasted almost 2 years before it gave me problems. Let's see how long the second one lasts.

The shim works as intended, the cooling holes on the back really help the pad stay a bit cooler and not get hot like a regular closed shim would. I just wish the baseplate was a little thicker and more flexible around the edges for working in corners. It's hard and flat, so with a 21mm bumper it gets a bit difficult to corner.

Need better quality control. I am buying this to replace the original 6" baseplate on a 20mm Bauer Random Orbit 6" telemeter. Polisher DA (56367). I confirm that the product is suitable for polishing. However, I noticed that the back plate was slightly warped when unpacked. This shim generates more vibrations during operation than the original shim. It's basically a downgrade that's not worth it.

Just a quick overview for those wondering if they will fit their Harbor Freight Bauer DA. Yes, it will fit the Long Stroke Orbital Polisher, model number 1918E-B. Enjoy your new 5" base plate. I even used an OEM spindle screw with a new plate and it has the same thread size.
