Very well done in External Accessories

Very good quality. I personally couldn't find a flagpole thick enough and ended up making a sleeve out of PVC pipe (and painting it black).

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

The maximum diameter of the flagpole is too high.

This hitch was advertised to accept flagpoles up to 2 1/4 inch in diameter. DON'T BELIEVE IT! It is 2 1/8 inches at best and does not match our flagpole.

Pros
  • Delightful
Cons
  • Exorbitant Price

Solid and strong. Really high quality construction.

It was great. I needed a big flag to fly behind my SUV. It fits perfectly and is quite durable. I had no problems. I would unreservedly recommend this to anyone.

Exactly what I needed.

I love this flagpole stand, it worked exactly as described and was big enough for our 2 1/4 inch diameter flagpole. Constructed of electrometallic tubing rather than hard steel, this holder is easier to work with and works well.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Great price

Works well on hitch mounts

Requires flag holder for Back the Blue Rally. It worked perfectly. Bought a 1" flagpole and the lag screws held it up very well. I attached some 3/8" rope from the roof rack to the top of the flagpole for extra support and it held up great at 40mph .Very happy with this product

Much better than expected

This product deserves a 6 star rating. Not only is it well made, but it includes 1) a strong pin for the hitch, 2) a safety pin to prevent the bar from "slipping" through the mount, 3) well designed inserts to fit the size of a narrower one to reduce rod. and 4) EXCELLENT illustrated instructions. As it turns out, customer service is NOT dead! Thanks for a great product.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Electrical outlet required

Ideal for all-round use!

So far this holder has worked great! To give an idea of the setup, this is installed on a Jeep JKU. My hitch mount is a standard Quadratec hitch mount. This holder mounts and cleans my spare 35" that attaches to an HD Hinge tire mount (not a bumper mounted tire mount). It raised the 3x5 flag and easily hit 75 mph on both the freeway and trails. Even took a few shots up and down the mountain with no damage! As for the flagpole, I made a 1" diameter steel gas tube and a couple of eyebolts for the
