Great tire: Tires and tubes

Matching tubeless tires 2.25 rear and 2.4 front. I've been riding for 35 years. A great all-round tire for everyone. Great quality and they wear very well. If you haven't tried this skin on your bike yet - try it, you'll love it. The price is great - I spent 75.00 on a tire - this pup runs well whatever the weather!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Little things

Favorite tire for tires

Ardent probably my favorite tire - my friends joke about how many other makes/models I try and keep coming back to Ardent. The Michigan Rider is the perfect tire for most of the season. I ride it 100% rear and up front I have an Ardent and an XR4 for my two front options.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Not as thick as the other options

Not a bad tire

has put on about 100 hard miles so far. mounted on the front tire and set at about 32psi. Central Texas terrain is typically dense, jagged rocky outcrops and hard mud. Overall this tire is holding up well. Washed away once on a sharp turn but the mud was loose at that point. I know a few riders who use this tire on the rear with good results. In general I recommend.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Disappears

It's a good all round tire with very good grip

I run 29 x 2.4 front and 2.2 rear. This is a good all round tire with very good grip. I ride mixed pavement with some steep hills on gravel roads, nothing catches on loose material climbs but they handle corners well. Probably not the fastest tyre, I find road surfaces change over time over the summer.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Some small things

Good tire for my bike Styl

These tires do the job but be aware they don't have deep bulges. If you're looking for deep lugs, use a different tire. I like less deep ledges because I ride most of the trails I ride on surface roads and also use my mountain bike to ride surface roads. So medium grips suit my style. I'm not a very aggressive trail biker and tend to avoid technical trails.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Minor issues
