Rigid, predictable, excellent traction

Excellent. Stronger than most 27.5 x 2.8 tires. I tried two other tires but both failed due to cuts in the sidewall. These hold up well.

Pros
  • Sports and outdoor activities
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Holds well and glides over granulated sugar.

Great tire. Exceeded all my expectations. I was expecting more slip in corners, but these tires grip really well. I've got about 700 miles on them, mostly off-road, but about 100 on the road. The paws are just beginning to disappear. There's still a lot of meat left. I wanted grip but also an easy float on granulated sugar. They ticked both of these boxes with minimal compromises for grip. MTB trails in Florida have a lot of sugar.

Good tyre, but I'll try others.

This is a grippy tire. I actually had a gaping tread hole on my first run, which surprised me. I run ground control from the front and thought anything ground control could handle should be handled by the Maxxis. I think I caught something from behind that I didn't see from the front. The sealant didn't seal it and I had to walk a few miles, which sucked. I threw in a strip of bacon when I got to something and now I've got about 60 miles and everything is fine.

Pros
  • Tire
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine
