Maxxis tires last longer than other tires

I've been riding for a while and Maxxis tires last much longer than any other tubeless tire brand. Definitely worth getting them, they usually last a year and I'm rough with bikes.

Great light and playful tire!

I bought tires that are 2.6" wide but as expected they are 2.5". The case of the Exo+ is excellent, neither heavy nor thin. They roll great and have enough grip as I've mostly ridden them on leaves.

  • Tires and Tubes
Cons
  • So far so good

great tire best tire

Despite the confusing name it was an Exo+ (both Exo and Exo+ in the name) and a 120tpi version. It's not cheap but it's a top quality tire and I use it every day and I'm quite happy with its handling and lifespan.

Easy to assemble and sit down. Grip is good but not a fast tire.

This tire was easy to mount and put on the rim. It copes well with rocks, roots and obstacles. It's not a bad tire on hard trails, but it's not the fastest tire. I'm more about hurdles and climbing than speed. So far the Minion has performed just as well as my Butcher Grids on the same trails, but my Butchers have over 1,000 miles on them. I'll probably buy a Minion again if he wears too.
