Bought these for 2.8". Surprised they're only 2.6" wide. Replaced my old 2.35" tires (the easily measuring 2.35") through these. I'm hoping to improve snow grip. Will update after a few rides to see how they perform. But based on this width measurement I feel some sort of false marketing.

For North Carolina's mix of dirt and debris, these tires are perfect. I have confidence in the traction they provide on a variety of surfaces. The tire I received was a TR tire just no exo no double compound just a minimal baseline dhrii tire. The image also shows the sidewall escapement cover, so do not use images as an accurate description of this product. Well I guess you can't use an actual description as an accurate description either. I would stay away from this buyer in my opinion.

I wanted the dual compound 60 tpi tire described here, but what I got is 3C MAXX TERRA with 120 tpi. Confused, I checked the Maxxis website and it turned out that this is the only version of this tire that the company makes in that specific size, meaning this product description is describing a non-existent tire!
