I love this chalk for dry hair and would recommend it to many children. I am a hairstylist and would prefer this to professional hair products. I use this product on my daughter's long hair and my son's short hair. Multiple passes through the hair and the color is beautiful and bright. Stays for days without washing, very little transfer from hair to skin or clothing with color. Very happy with the product.

Was not happy with this purchase. There's nothing chalky about it, it's like makeup, like the texture of a lipstick/gloss. The color lays unevenly, the application is uneven. The idea of pinching the two sides together while pulling through the hair is intriguing, but considering how little paint there is in each pack, you'll soon end up with an empty circle in the center and paint over the edges to the left. A great idea is that it rinses off easily.

We tried several hair chalks on my daughter's long blonde hair and none came close to this quality. These crayons are very easy to apply, they are very bright and don't leave as many marks as others. I absolutely love this product!

Didn't work at all on my daughter's dark curls. But it happened on my daughter's golden hair, but the blue turned green. Unfortunately I will not recommend this product.

I had a hard time getting any color from the comb onto my hair. I ran the comb through my hair so often and with so much pressure that I ended up with split ends. I ended up running out of hair color for my Halloween costume. I wish I had bought a colored spray.

My daughters asked to dye their hair but they are only 3 years old. They are as big as your hands. It's a bit annoying to try with such a small grip, but that's ok. It looks bright on her dirty blonde hair. I tried it on my dark brown hair and it didn't work. It rubs off everything their hair touches, which is why I have colorful stains all over the house where they've fallen or hit their heads. It cleans easily. Alkaline soap and water. I just wish they were bigger.

I bought this comb with hair crayons for my 6 year old daughter's birthday. The colors are diverse. My daughter wanted multi colored braids so I took a small section of hair and dyed it red and then let her hold it. I then colored another section blue, after that I take a section of hair and color it orange and green overlaid. Finally, I braided three of the hair so the colored braids were complete. The product worked for what my daughter wanted it to do. I found it a bit difficult to use, didn't go on as smooth and even as I'd like and sometimes left small stains of color in my hair. For the most part it was fine. I think the color faded pretty quickly and migrated onto her shirt when she got home. It's okay because he's gone.
