💪 Premium Mayhew 10-Inch Pneumatic Chisel for Enhanced Performance Review

I had to grind the part of the tool that fits in the air hammer (Home Depot machine). I'm not sure if it's the hammers. Worked great after cutting.

White others call them heavy duty chisels when used with CP717 1/2 Super Duty Shank Impact Bit. You see, the additional costs are worth it and 2/3 less time for the same work

It's a little more expensive than the competition but well worth it. I have Mayhew crowbars, chisels, scrapers, picks etc. They have all withstood tough conditions and have proven excellent. I bought these after trying cheaper brands and learning my lesson.

Looked great and matched my Port Freight Air Hammer. A colleague of mine used his long air hammer to knock the bearing ring off the hub and let's just say he made a noticeable dent in the head of the bit. I'm not sure they make a chisel that could survive that thought unscathed. Overall this is a good chisel and did not break under pressure.

I started using Mayhew hammer chisels and they impressed me. This one seems to hold the edge pretty well. If you use your air hammer with a chisel, you're trying to force your work and you're getting frustrated. Let's say you can't get a hydraulic fitting to rotate. You take a hammer and this chisel and start working. The edge should be sharp enough to leave room for a bite, and you don't have to sharpen the chisel every time you pick it up.
