This is exactly the tool I needed to trim some of the edges of my foundation's cinder blocks so I could fit the door frame flush to them while he still remained a 90 angle and still a reasonable price. The local hdwr store wanted 3 times the size for a similar but smaller version without the handle!

I'm a layman but it works very well. I put stone borders around the beds. I used it to split limestone rock to fit and chisel the ends. Since I don't have much experience, I can do it with this and a small sledgehammer. I get good results. The enclosed protective cover is required.

The handguard saved me a few hits on my fingers and the chisel shows no signs of wear. I definitely recommend this chisel. I'm only giving this chisel 4 stars instead of 5 because the handle loosened after several uses and the chisel almost slipped out of the handle when the chisel was in a vertical position. I had to apply high strength glue to the inside of the handle, put it back onto the shank of the chisel and let it dry overnight before continuing my project.
