It's very good.: Deodorants and antiperspirants

That's what I was looking for: powder, not granules. Maybe next time it could be sold in a more user-friendly dispenser like spice or salt containers.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Neutral

Great value for personal care products

I am using this product as a stain for an eco print of flowers and leaves. If you try to buy this product at the grocery store, it costs four times as much. a lot for a small glass.

Pros
  • Good finish
Cons
  • Fairly ok but...

Difficult to dissolve

I used it as a natural mordant as per the page. It didn't dissolve particularly well, but I've cooked in my kitchen and it was food safe.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

FOR YOUR Hydrangeas!

If you cut the stem at an angle and dip the stem in alum before placing the cuttings in the vase. it extends the life of your flowers. It really works!

Great for mouth ulcers

I have used this for mouth ulcers. I apply enough for the thickness. I could only feel heat or burning for a second, after that the pain was gone! Pure bliss. It's worth the bad taste because it dries out the wounds quickly. I'm glad I found this because I have lupus and frequent mouth ulcers.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Safety

Volume? Personal Care

Doesn't taste like alum I've used before. It seals the ulcer very well, but it just tastes like clay. It also has a faint beige color. I'm kind of convinced they just put the clay in the bag.

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Expensive

Stomatitis Alum = WORKS!

I saw a guy on YouTube saying he uses alum for ulcers. I get the worst ulcers. They always manage to get into a painful constellation that prevents me from eating comfortably. But I tried it and it worked really fast. The morning after my first application, the ulcers had significantly reduced and started to epithelialize again. second morning? healed. No pain. And I eat a donut without crying. This "rumor" works!

Pros
  • Deodorants and antiperspirants
Cons
  • Damaged

For me just the fact that I found this at Revain

I used this product with a combination of camphor squares in water as a gargle for a sore throat or pimple on the tongue it helps relieve the pain to take and reduce it. The cure my mother taught me. Alum is very tart and helps reduce ulcers. I used just under half a teaspoon per mason jar of water. Very tart so I always add a little water to the cup when I'm going to use it. I forgot what camphor does. I know it works as I suffered a lot from sore throats as a kid.

Pros
  • Beauty and Personal Care
Cons
  • I don't remember

NO alum powder on deodorants and antiperspirants

EDIT: I can confirm that it's 100% no alum. I went to the store and bought my regular McCormick alum (which of course I should have done first) and it made my boil burn so hard - just like it should. While it drew no attention. I don't know what the heck it is, but it's definitely not granular alum powder as advertised. How do I know? I put it on a huge cancerous growth and it didn't sting a bit. Doesn't taste or look like alum either. I have been using real alum powder to cure stomatitis forโ€ฆ

Pros
  • deodorants
Cons
  • slightly wrinkled
