Works as advertised. Suitable for Tundra Rock Warrior rim.

Bought these to replace my horrible McGard locknuts that fell apart on my Tundra. It's odd that the same company sells handy substitutes.

Pros
  • SplineDrive Ring Nuts have a closed end design, maximum gripping force, greater stud engagement and a larger seating area than push-in nuts; They are also 30% lighter. Available in different colors and styles. One of them will definitely match the style or color of your bike. The black, gold or chrome finish on all our lug nuts is guaranteed not to chip, peel or rust... ever! Only for aluminum rims.

Easy-to-use threaded nuts

If you have a McGard wheel rim and wheel nut kit, finding the right locknut is easy. McGard offers a serial number for the lock slot and a decal to affix to the vehicle should you ever need to reorder. Good plastic case to protect sockets. I thought I'd rather have all the nuts that fit and none that look weird, but I hardly notice a locking nut and can be assured my wheels will stay where I left them.

I like the wedge drive and the fact that the cone seat rotates separately from the driven part of the nut. It acts like a washer under the nut, protecting the wheel and providing a constant clamping force at a given torque. Disadvantages here because of the color. It is uneven in thickness, so the tool does not fit well on some nuts. Once the tool has scraped the paint, DO NOT scrape down to the chrome, scrape down to the bare steel. Which will rust at the slightest provocation. You will have…
