Ordered bright orange. My 9 year old son liked the light color so he went for it. The box arrived well packaged but is easy to open. The case snapped into place very easily. It fits snugly and I'm happy with how it fits. Not sure how much it will protect as it is hard plastic not rubber. It seems that something more rubbery would protect better in the event of a crash. Protects my Chromebook from my girlfriend putting stuff on it and won't scratch the case. The rubber feet on the bottom keep it off the table easily and prevent it from slipping. The reports of fully opening and using it as a tablet are correct, but I was still able to open it fully, there's just a small gap, you don't want to force it. Removing the top cover solves this problem and the stress on the hinges is no higher than usual in tablet mode.

This product is not as advertised. Each time the laptop was opened, the back of the bottom cover broke off. I was very upset after making sure all the model numbers were correct before ordering. Also back corners of bottom cover. You have closed the charging ports for the Chromebook Acer 13. Not sure what other case fits this Chromebook? A bit flimsy and expensive for two thin pieces of plastic, but functional in the sense that this Chromebook is VERY smooth and slippery and the textured "sleeve" gives it a little "Tooth gives” to hold on to. There is little protection except from scratches. Other reviewers who said they couldn't open the Chromebook shouldn't "snap" it all the way, as I have no problem using it in any position as if it didn't even have a lid.
