Excellent CAN Bus Receiver for SBCs

As a result of my tests, I determined that this receiver controller is a great addition for anyone looking to add CAN bus capabilities to their single board computer. The product's easy-to-use design and compatibility with a wide variety of boards make it an excellent choice for many users. The only downside is that it may be difficult to find reliable documentation on how to integrate this device with specific boards.

Zero QA Computers & Accessories

The circuit boards are cut too small (haven't done that yet) If I wanted to use 4 mounting holes I would be SOL because they are all cut off at the corners . Most of these cheap Chinese products seem to have terrible soldering and this is no exception. I will not buy it again nor will I recommend it.

However, they work.

So I figured the previous reviewer was just being quibbling and over-the-top board placement. They definitely weren't! The chips appear to be soldered ok, but all pass-thru components are poorly soldered, misplaced on the board, or weren't flat when soldered, so the CANH and CANL screw terminals are skewed to a different component. As I said they work well and for $3 for $7 I honestly feel bad even leaving a negative review. However, we hope that the manufacturer or retailer will see the review
