So I figured the previous reviewer was just being quibbling and over-the-top board placement. They definitely weren't! The chips appear to be soldered ok, but all pass-thru components are poorly soldered, misplaced on the board, or weren't flat when soldered, so the CANH and CANL screw terminals are skewed to a different component. As I said they work well and for $3 for $7 I honestly feel bad even leaving a negative review. However, we hope that the manufacturer or retailer will see the review and take another minute to place the components for soldering and make sure all the components are where they should be.
