Like previous reviewers of this bike pedal, I had a crunch/pop issue. After a few miles of riding, the pedal began to crunch with every turn. I was able to fix this by tightening the outer bolt very firmly, which required a #6 metric allen wrench. I then had to retighten it after a few more rides and have had no problems since. I had to buy a set of keys to do this as I didn't have the metric. Much luck.

I never thought I would need a new pedal. One of them broke. I wouldn't change it just for looks. But I was wrong. Not only am I glad I replaced it for mechanical reasons, but I've also greatly improved the look of the bike. The size is just right and works great. You can feel the craftsmanship when you hold it in your hands. I have replaced other components of my bike, brakes, shifters, cassette and this is the best option I have ever made.

So far, so good. This is my first set of spike MTB pedals so they are much better than the original pedals I had on the bike. They are thin and my foot can feel a medium stand but I don't think that's a bad thing. It adds medium support, although it takes some getting used to. The spikes have a good grip even with the smooth soles of my running shoes. I don't know how durable they are but with the metal construction they seem very solid. It's definitely 5 stars for now, especially for the price
