The measurements in the description are correct. Hinged lid, easy to open and close. I put my little wallets in these boxes. I am very happy with it.

A box came with a cracked lid, although the shipping box was undamaged. Disappointed, because the boxes were otherwise very nicely finished. Heavyweight clear plastic attractive enough to defy vanity. I hate that they stick big labels right on the lid that can't be removed - you have to hide them in a locker!

I'm disappointed in them. I bought them specifically to store potentially hazardous groceries (Rx, vitamins, etc. which I keep in an open basket by my bed) so my new companion dog, who is arriving soon, cannot accidentally choke on them. The containers have lids that can be opened with a snap of your fingers. Nothing closes them. Bought larger containers, same problem. Otherwise the boxes look solid and I'll find another use for them.

Welcome to our "hygiene station" next to the door. These small transparent boxes will be a nice addition. Arrived on time and with no damage, unlike other commenters. They are too narrow for surgical masks but are great for medical gloves. Still look for a longer lid with a hinged lid in the middle instead of hinges on the ends of the larger ones. Also bought larger ones that are big enough for a tin of tissues but have a hinge at the end.

It looks like mDesign has several of these devices in different sizes. I use them to organize my bathroom closet between my wife and I. I like that they are transparent. Sometimes I'd prefer the lid to open from the other side, but that's secondary. I ordered two sets of these two piece organizers and received them within a few days with free Prime shipping. For some reason I only received 3/4 cases, but I expect this to be resolved without incident and will not base my review on that factor.
